GEAR RELEASES · Official announcement: November 5, 2026
Nike and Kids Of Immigrants have announced two Tiempo models with a shared yellow-led design story and different jobs: a Maestro Elite for the pitch and a Streetgato that takes the collaboration beyond it. For U.S. buyers, the first date to note is November 7 at the Kids Of Immigrants flagship in Los Angeles. The announcement date is not the sale date.
U.S. release details first
| Release stage | Date in 2026 | Where |
|---|---|---|
| First in-person release | November 7 | Kids Of Immigrants flagship, Los Angeles |
| Brand online launch | November 17 | kidsofimmigrants.us |
| Wider global launch | November 19 | SNKRS, nike.com and selected retail locations |
Price and ordering status: the official announcement does not give a U.S. MSRP, product style codes, size range or exact launch time for either pair. Those details remain unconfirmed here as of November 5. This is an upcoming release, not evidence that either shoe is available to order today. Check Kids Of Immigrants and the U.S. SNKRS calendar for final purchase details. Do not substitute the price of a regular Tiempo or an overseas conversion.

Maestro Elite: the pitch model
Nike identifies this as the partnership’s first performance-football footwear collaboration and names FlyTouch in the Maestro Elite’s upper. The announcement does not establish which outsole options or surface-specific versions will be sold in the United States. A photograph of studs is not enough to label the retail pair FG or AG.

In the official photographs, the Maestro’s yellow transitions toward a warmer orange at the forefoot. A dark side panel creates a strong break across that color field, while the sole view introduces translucent blue and green tones. These are visual observations, not a conclusion about grip, fit or the upper’s feel.

Streetgato: a different shape and a different reason to buy
The Streetgato carries the shared colors into a lower, flatter profile. Its yellow panels are framed by black around the toe and lower edge; orange laces make a different first impression from the more tonal lacing on the Maestro. The close-ups show collaborative heel branding and lettering across the sole.

That is why I would not compare the two simply as premium and cheaper versions of the same shoe. One starts from performance football; the other extends the collection into the street-and-court side of the Tiempo family. The exact collaboration’s retail product page should settle intended surfaces and construction before purchase.

The shared story is more than matching yellow
Nike connects the collection to the mountainous landscapes of Honduras and Liberia, the homelands of Kids Of Immigrants founders Daniel Buezo and Weleh Dennis. Against that background, keeping both a studded model and a street-oriented silhouette makes editorial sense: the same football identity can appear in a match kit or an everyday outfit without the shoes becoming interchangeable.

Which date should a U.S. buyer plan around?
If you are near Los Angeles and want the first physical release, November 7 is the relevant announced stage. It is worth checking the flagship’s own event information before traveling; Nike’s release does not promise a reservation, a particular size or an online order that day. If you are buying remotely, distinguish the November 17 brand website release from the November 19 wider rollout. Three dates describe three access routes, not three different colorways.
I would wait for the exact U.S. price and product code before deciding between them. For playing, the surface comes first: our AG, FG and TF guide explains that choice. For a street purchase, our Cryoshot R10 explainer shows how another football reference changes purpose away from the field. The two Beckham Predators offer a useful comparison in reading one design story across distinct models.
This is announcement coverage and an interpretation of official photographs. No pair has been worn or tested for this article. The next useful update is confirmed U.S. pricing and version information, rather than a performance verdict based on campaign images.
